Bengals Face Ravens in Primate Time Matchup for Fourth Consecutive Year

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow expressed his dissatisfaction with the team's continued primetime matchups against the Baltimore Ravens, noting this will be the fourth straight season they meet under the lights. Following a voluntary workout, Burrow remarked, 'Playing in Baltimore for the fourth straight prime-time year isn't ideal.' He added a hopeful plea for future scheduling: 'Maybe we can get one of those in Cincinnati next year. Please.'
The Bengals and Ravens have faced each other in several critical matchups in recent seasons, with Cincinnati losing a closely contested game on October 9, 2022, by a score of 19-17 on Sunday Night Football. The rivalry continued on November 16, 2023, when Cincinnati suffered a 34-20 defeat at the hands of Baltimore, a game in which Burrow exited early due to a season-ending wrist injury. The two teams met again on November 7, 2024, with the Bengals narrowly falling 35-34.
As the Bengals prepare to visit Baltimore once again on November 27, 2025, it is evident that their recent history in these primetime games has favored home teams. Last season, Cincinnati played one primetime home game, which ended in a 38-33 loss to the Washington Commanders. The Bengals also faced multiple primetime challenges on the road, including a mix of wins and losses against teams like the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys. This season features three road primetime contests, including matchups against the Dolphins and Ravens, which underscores the ongoing challenges Cincinnati faces as they aim to return to playoff contention after two seasons out of the postseason picture.
