NFL Rookies Showcase Official Jerseys at Fanatics and NFLPA Event

A behind-the-scenes video has unveiled details from the Fanatics and NFL Players Association (NFLPA) event dedicated to showcasing the official game jerseys for several incoming rookies, including notable players such as Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. This promotional event featured a gathering of newly drafted players who were able to view their jerseys on display as part of a marketing initiative by the NFL and Fanatics. The video highlight, which occurs at the 7:10 mark, originates from Deion Sanders Jr.'s Well Off Media.
The event also served as a reunion for former Colorado teammates, with Hunter being selected as the No. 2 overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars, while Sanders was chosen later in the draft, going in the fifth round to the Cleveland Browns with the 144th pick. Other rookies in attendance included the No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward, alongside Abdul Carter, Ashton Jeanty, Jalen Milroe, Jaxson Dart, Tyler Shough, and Cam Skattebo. According to Brandon Parker of NFLPA.com, a total of 42 rookies were invited to participate in the event, which marks their 'first major business immersion' since entering the NFL.
During the event, participants engaged in orientation sessions conducted by NFLPA leadership, gaining insights on group licensing, personal branding, and opportunities for passive income. Additionally, rookies networked with potential business partners and sponsors to further develop their portfolios. Supplementing the business components of the event, players had the chance to participate in autograph sessions and photoshoots. Although the jerseys revealed were not a surprise—with all players having already chosen their NFL numbers—the event highlighted a unique opportunity to gather many rookies in one setting since the scouting combine. In contrast, only 17 players attended the draft in Green Bay the previous month. The jersey reveal event is likely the final non-football business activity for most rookies before they report for Organized Team Activities (OTAs), which for the Jaguars, Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots, and Dallas Cowboys will begin on May 19.
