Kevin Durants Former Oklahoma City Home Listed at Symbolic Price

The Oklahoma City Thunder organization has recently garnered attention for a unique real estate listing connected to former player Kevin Durant. In a bid to spark interest in the townhome, Thunder Team Realty has humorously listed the property for the symbolic price of $35—reflecting Durant's jersey number when he played with the team. This playful pricing has attracted curiosity, although the home is expected to sell for its actual market value, which is approximately $1 million.
The house, originally designed by Durant himself, was sold after he departed from the Thunder in 2016. The current owners, who acquired the home from Durant, have now decided to list it for sale. According to Leasha Larkpor, the managing broker for Thunder Team Realty, key designers who worked on the property visited the house and expressed their nostalgia, recalling their role in selecting the colors and design elements that Durant had chosen. Larkpor emphasized the hope that a passionate buyer would fall in love with the property, leading to an opportunity for negotiations on an appropriate offer.
Kevin Durant's journey in the NBA began when he was drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics in 2007, where he played his rookie season. Following the franchise's relocation to Oklahoma City in 2008, Durant became the cornerstone of the newly formed Thunder. He played a pivotal role in leading the team to an NBA Finals appearance in 2012 and earned the MVP award in 2014, alongside multiple All-Star selections during his tenure with the organization.
