Von Millers Future with the Denver Broncos Uncertain

Von Miller has indicated his intention to play in the upcoming NFL season, although it seems unlikely that he will do so with the Denver Broncos. In comments made to reporters, the seasoned free agent noted, "I haven't heard anything [from the Broncos]." He elaborated on the situation, acknowledging that the Broncos are well-equipped at the edge rusher position.
The Denver Broncos currently boast two standout rushers, Jonathon Cooper and Nik Bonitto, both of whom have demonstrated impressive performance. Cooper recorded 10.5 sacks last season, while Bonitto led the team with 13.5 sacks. Additionally, six players overall contributed to the Broncos' formidable pass rush, culminating in a league-leading total of 63 sacks during the 2024 season. Given this depth, Miller's return to Denver appears to be a low-probability scenario.
Miller, a two-time Super Bowl champion and eight-time Pro Bowler, mentioned, "I'm not playing special teams. That decision kinda makes itself at 36 years old," indicating that his focus remains on a role that aligns with his extensive experience and skills. As training camp approaches, it remains plausible that a contending team in search of veteran depth may consider incorporating Miller into their roster.
