Von Millers Future with the Denver Broncos Remains Unclear

Von Miller has expressed his intention to play in the upcoming NFL season; however, it is unlikely to be with the Denver Broncos. The veteran free agent commented during a press conference, stating, 'I haven't heard anything from the Broncos.' He pointed out that the current roster features two outstanding edge rushers, Jonathon Cooper and Nik Bonitto, who he describes as some of the best in the league.
Miller noted the impressive performance of the Broncos' pass rush last season, with Cooper notching 10.5 sacks and Bonitto leading the team with 13.5. In total, six players on the Broncos achieved five or more sacks in 2024, contributing to the team's league-leading total of 63 sacks. Given the depth and talent at the position, Miller suggested that a reunion with the Broncos may not be advantageous for either party, especially considering his desire to focus on a more prominent role rather than special teams duties at the age of 36.
While a return to the Broncos seems improbable for Miller this season, he remains open to possibilities in the future. For contending teams seeking experienced veteran depth as training camp approaches, the eight-time Pro Bowler and two-time Super Bowl champion could be a valuable addition.
