Von Millers Future in the NFL: A Potential Break from the Broncos

Von Miller has expressed his intention to play in the upcoming NFL season, although it is unlikely that he will return to the Denver Broncos. Speaking to reporters, the veteran free agent acknowledged a lack of communication from the Broncos and remarked, 'If you look at it, this year, it really doesn’t make sense.'
Miller pointed out the strength of the Broncos' current edge rushers, highlighting Jonathon Cooper and Nik Bonitto, both of whom have established themselves as top performers in the league. Cooper recorded 10.5 sacks last season, while Bonitto led the team with an impressive 13.5 sacks. Overall, the Broncos' defensive unit boasted a total of 63 sacks, leading the league, with multiple players contributing to that success. Consequently, Miller's prospects of returning to a team that is well-stocked at the position appear dim.
While a reunion with the Broncos seems unlikely for the current season, the eight-time Pro Bowler and two-time Super Bowl champion may still attract interest from contending teams looking to add veteran depth as training camp approaches.
