Von Miller Evaluates His Future with NFL Teams

Von Miller has confirmed his intention to play in the upcoming NFL season, albeit likely not with the Denver Broncos. The veteran free agent shared his thoughts with reporters, stating, "I haven't heard anything [from the Broncos]." His remarks suggest a lack of communication from the franchise, prompting speculation about his future.
Miller elaborated on the current state of the Broncos' roster, emphasizing their strong depth at the edge rusher position. He highlighted Jonathon Cooper and Nik Bonitto, pointing out that both players have demonstrated exceptional performance, with Cooper registering 10.5 sacks last season and Bonitto leading the team with 13.5. Furthermore, a total of six Broncos players contributed to a league-leading 63 sacks in 2024, showcasing the team's ability to pressure opposing quarterbacks.
Considering these dynamics, a reunion with Miller, who spent 11 seasons with the Broncos, appears unlikely at this juncture. As training camps approach, however, teams in need of veteran experience may find Miller to be a viable addition as he seeks to continue his career.
