Scottie Scheffler Willing to Trade Major for Cowboys Super Bowl Victory

World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler expressed a willingness to prioritize the success of the Dallas Cowboys over his golfing achievements. During a recent guest appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast, Scheffler noted, 'I would trade one [major] for sure for a [Cowboys] Super Bowl.' This sentiment highlights the deep-rooted connection he has with the team, reflecting his upbringing in Dallas despite being born in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
At just 29 years old, Scheffler has already secured four major titles after his victory at the 2025 Open Championship. With aspirations to win the U.S. Open and achieve a career Grand Slam, he has not lost sight of his passion for football. Despite the Cowboys' rich history, having won five Super Bowl championships, their most recent win occurred just months before Scheffler's birth, leaving him without firsthand experience of those championship moments.
The Cowboys have faced challenges in recent seasons, with their last Super Bowl appearance dating back to a period when many current players were not yet in the league. Entering the 2025 NFL season under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer, Dallas aims for better health as key players like Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, Micah Parsons, and Trevon Diggs missed a combined 21 games during the previous season. As the Cowboys strive for a return to the playoffs for the fourth time in five years, Scheffler's investment in the team's success remains evident.
