NFL Rookies Showcase Team Spirit at NFLPA Rookie Premiere

Several incoming NFL rookies, including Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Jacksonville Jaguars standout Travis Hunter, were photographed in their team uniforms during the NFLPA Rookie Premiere on Saturday. Sanders, along with fellow first-year player Dillon Gabriel, represented the Cleveland Browns, while Hunter was seen donning the full Jaguars outfit.
Shedeur Sanders, selected by the Browns with the 144th pick in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, was highly anticipated ahead of the selection process, as predictions had him potentially going as high as the No. 20 overall pick according to final mock drafts from Moneyline. Following an impressive senior season at Colorado, in which he completed 74 percent of his passes for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions, Sanders is expected to engage in a competitive battle for the starting quarterback position in Cleveland, contending with Dillon Gabriel, Kenny Pickett, and Joe Flacco.
Travis Hunter, who excelled alongside Sanders at the University of Colorado, not only earned acclaim as a two-way player but also received 2024 Heisman Trophy honors. The Jaguars traded up to select Hunter with the second overall pick in the draft. Reports indicate that Jacksonville intends to utilize the versatile athlete predominantly on offense while also deploying him in a supporting role on defense. Hunter's partnership with breakout rookie wideout Brian Thomas Jr. is anticipated to significantly enhance quarterback Trevor Lawrence's passing attack as the team aims to rebound from a challenging 4-13 season.
