NFL 2025 Draft Class Speculates on Madden NFL 26 Ratings

Members of the NFL's 2025 draft class recently shared their expectations regarding their initial ratings in the upcoming Madden NFL 26 game. Among the responses, Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty expressed an expectation of an overall rating around 80. In contrast, Los Angeles Chargers running back Omarion Hampton anticipates a higher rating of 87. Similarly, New York Giants players Abdul Carter and Jaxson Dart have positioned themselves in this competitive range. Meanwhile, Baltimore Ravens edge-rusher Mike Green even suggested he might break into the 90s.
For context, the previous year, no rookie in Madden NFL 25 was rated 80 or above upon the game's release. The leading players from that class included Chargers offensive tackle Joe Alt and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., both of whom were rated at 79 overall, while five players shared a rating of 78. This rollout of player ratings by EA Sports serves to build excitement leading into the release of Madden NFL 26, with the top rookies featuring prominently ahead of the full ratings reveal scheduled for Friday.
Jeanty and Carter are expected to stand out among their peers in this year's rookie class. Carter was ranked just behind Jacksonville Jaguars two-way standout Travis Hunter on Bleacher Report's final big board, while Jeanty secured a position at sixth overall in the rankings. As anticipation builds, these players do not have to wait much longer to discover their official Madden ratings.
