Texas Rangers Announce Special Edition Jerseys for Jujutsu Kaisen Night

The Texas Rangers have announced a special event that is likely to resonate with anime enthusiasts. On July 1, during their game against the Baltimore Orioles, the Rangers will host Jujutsu Kaisen Night, where attendees can expect to receive limited-edition jerseys themed around the popular anime.
The tickets for Jujutsu Kaisen Night are already sold out, and fans who secured their seats will be able to collect their co-branded jerseys at Globe Life Field. This initiative marks one of several Theme Nights that the Rangers will celebrate throughout the season, which also includes events such as AEW Wrestling Night, Hello Kitty Night, Barbie Night, and Superman Day, among others.
This event is not the first anime collaboration in Major League Baseball. Earlier in the year, the league announced an official collaboration with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and Ufotable, which produced a short video featuring prominent players like Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers and Shota Imanaga of the Chicago Cubs. Additionally, MLB has partnered with director Hiroshi Shimizu for an anime project titled Heroes of the Game, showcasing players including Shohei Ohtani, Paul Skenes, Aaron Judge, and Juan Soto. Currently, the Rangers are positioned third in the American League West with a record of 27-30 and have faced challenges, losing eight of their last ten games, which includes a recent 2-0 shutout loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. As they look to rebound, the Rangers will host the St. Louis Cardinals, who hold a 32-34 record, for the start of a three-game series on Friday.
