In a recent episode of the Mind the Game podcast, Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry discussed his shooting motion in an engaging conversation with basketball legends LeBron James and Steve Nash. "It helped me off the dribble," Curry stated, explaining his unconventional, yet effective, one-piece shooting technique. He emphasized that regardless of his balance or dribbling variations—whether he's shooting with his right or left hand—his shooting form allows him to release quickly without sacrificing power. The 6'3" guard expressed confidence in his ability to shoot over defenders, stating, "As long as I get them to drop their hands a little bit, I can get it up there quick, and I don't want to have any wasted motion."

LeBron James, who had the chance to observe Curry's shooting style closely while they were teammates on Team USA during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, described Curry's motion as "a flick."
