'Success is not an accident. We know the recipe. We know what it takes. We can't skip any steps to get to where we want to get to,' Barkley articulated, highlighting the team's commitment to following a proven path. He noted the importance of consistency from previous offseasons through training camps and into the regular season, emphasizing that talent, coaching, and a bit of luck are crucial ingredients for their achievement.

Having joined the Eagles as a free agent last offseason, Barkley had a remarkable season, accumulating 2,005 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns, and setting a new NFL single-season record with a total of 2,504 rushing yards including the playoffs. His outstanding performance earned him a new contract and recognition as the cover star of Madden NFL 26.
