Pittsburgh Pirates Celebrate Legacy of Mac Miller with Special Bobblehead Night

The Pittsburgh Pirates held a special Mac Miller bobblehead night that attracted the largest home crowd of the season, as fans converged on PNC Park to commemorate the late rapper and his connection to the team's history. On Saturday, the Pirates faced off against the Chicago White Sox, with attendance reported at 38,041, according to Moneyline.
The first 20,000 fans who entered the stadium received the commemorative Miller bobblehead, which was designed in collaboration with the rapper's family. Enthusiastic fans began lining up as early as 8 a.m. for the 6:40 p.m. game, with reports indicating that some experienced wait times of up to four hours. The bobblehead features Miller's song "Knock Knock," adding a musical element to the collectible.
In an additional tribute, Miller's mother, Karen Meyers, had the honor of throwing out the first pitch before the game. Miller, who tragically passed away in 2018 at the age of 26, was remembered not only through the bobblehead but also with a fan message wall where attendees could leave notes in his memory and celebration of his impact.
