NFL Celebrates Christmas with Special Jersey Patches
The NFL has announced that special jersey patches will adorn various teams during Week 16 and their Christmas Day games, adding an extra festive touch to this holiday's matchups. Fans can look forward to seeing these unique patches as teams take to the field in the spirit of celebration.
Teams Set to Shine in Week 16
Several teams will debut the new patches in Week 16. The Dallas Cowboys, set to face off against the Los Angeles Chargers, will showcase their patch, along with their Christmas Day clash against the Washington Commanders.
The Washington Commanders will also sport the patches in their Week 16 game against the Philadelphia Eagles before taking on the Cowboys on Christmas.
The Detroit Lions, facing the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 16, will wear the patches as well. They will also compete against the Minnesota Vikings on Christmas Day.
Speaking of the Vikings, they will wear the special patches during their Week 16 game against the New York Giants before taking on the Lions on Christmas.
The Denver Broncos will don their patches in a Week 16 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars and again during their Christmas game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Lastly, the Kansas City Chiefs will display the patches in their Week 16 contest against the Tennessee Titans, followed by their Christmas Day showdown with the Broncos.
Christmas Day Broadcast Schedule
This year, Netflix joins the NFL broadcasting lineup with two Christmas Day matchups on Thursday, Dec. 25. The first game will feature the Cowboys facing off against the Commanders at 1 p.m. ET, followed by the Lions vs. Vikings matchup at 4 p.m. ET. Additionally, Prime Video will air the nightcap featuring the Broncos taking on the Chiefs at 8:15 p.m. ET.
