Speaking to The Athletic, Licht equated Evans' mindset and relentless focus to that of NBA legend Michael Jordan, noting that this unique mentality sets him apart from others in the league. "We had to force him to take a day off in training camp," Licht disclosed, highlighting Evans' commitment to the game.

Come to Tampa, a team not known for offense … revolving door at quarterback … the most doubled receiver in the league since 2015 …" he remarked.
