LeBron James Congratulates Travis Kelce on NFL Record Achievement
On Saturday night, LeBron James took to X to express his admiration for Travis Kelce following his outstanding performance in the Kansas City Chiefs' victory over the Houston Texans. Kelce set a new NFL record for the most games with 100 receiving yards in the postseason, achieving this milestone during the Chiefs' 23-14 win.
Kelce recorded seven receptions for 117 yards and one touchdown in the game, becoming a critical contributor to the team's offense by accounting for more than half of the total yards gained. This performance marked his ninth playoff game with 100 or more receiving yards, thus breaking the tie with the legendary wide receiver Jerry Rice.
While LeBron James is primarily known as a supporter of the Cleveland Browns, he highlighted Kelce's accomplishment as the player hails from the Cleveland area. James has previously appeared on the New Heights podcast, co-hosted by Kelce and his brother Jason. Although James may not consistently root for Kelce and the Chiefs, his acknowledgment of the record-setting performance demonstrates his admiration for the player's talent and commitment as he continues to strive for greatness in the NFL.
