Japan Dominates Mexico in Little League World Series as Elimination Games Heat Up

Little League Baseball World Series Action Continues
The Little League Baseball World Series kicked off its elimination rounds on Tuesday in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, featuring four critical matchups. The tournament, which operates on a double-elimination format, has narrowed the field down to twelve teams—six from the United States and six from international regions. By the end of the day, this lineup will shrink to just eight teams.
Four teams have emerged undefeated in the tournament: Metro from Fairfield, Connecticut; Mountain from Las Vegas, Nevada; Latin America from Barquisimeto, Venezuela; and Asia-Pacific from Taipei. The upcoming games will determine who will join these teams in the finals for both the United States and international brackets.
Wednesday’s Showdown Recap
