On Thursday, the Little League World Series continued its exciting run in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, featuring four thrilling matchups. One of the standout performances came from Team Japan, who decisively defeated Europe-Africa (Czechia) with a score of 12-0.
Japan's Stellar Performance
Japan showcased their prowess on the field with bats firing on all cylinders. Yushi Yamamoto led the charge with three runs batted in and one run scored. His teammates, Taisuke Someya and Taisei Suzuki, contributed significantly, each adding two RBIs to the tally.
The Japanese pitching staff was equally impressive, as Kensei Takeuchi, Ritsugu Furusato, and Tensei Yazawa combined for a no-hitter through four innings, walking just one batter and striking out eight.
