Athletics Set for Las Vegas Home Games Ahead of 2026 Move

A's Scheduled for Six Home Games in Las Vegas in 2026
The Oakland Athletics are gearing up for an exciting transition as Major League Baseball (MLB) has unveiled its full 2026 regular-season schedule. Ahead of their planned permanent move to Las Vegas in the coming years, the A's will host six home games at Las Vegas Ballpark.
From June 8-14, the Athletics will welcome the Milwaukee Brewers and the Colorado Rockies, showcasing their talents in the city that will soon become their new home. Currently, Las Vegas Ballpark serves as the venue for the Athletics' Triple-A affiliate, the Las Vegas Aviators. The ballpark has also hosted the A's for two spring training games earlier this season against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Construction on the Athletics' new stadium in Las Vegas commenced in May, marked by a ceremonial groundbreaking on June 23 attended by team owner John Fisher and MLB commissioner Rob Manfred, among others. The planned 33,000-seat stadium is expected to carry a hefty price tag of around $2 billion and is on track for completion by the start of the 2028 season.
In the meantime, the Athletics have been utilizing Sutter Health Park in Sacramento for their home games after their lease with the city of Oakland expired at the end of last season. They will continue to play their home games in Sacramento through the 2027 season, where they hold a 27-37 record this year, contributing to an overall season record of 61-72.
