Dak Prescott Welcomes Second Daughter, Prepares for 2025 NFL Season

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, have announced the arrival of their second daughter, Aurora Rayne Prescott. Prescott took to Instagram to share this joyous news, revealing that their daughter was born on May 22. The couple's first child, Margaret Jane Ramos, was born in February 2024.
Following the birth of his first daughter, Prescott reflected on the transformative experience of fatherhood. He noted, 'I feel different. When you wake up in the morning and you see that baby, you understand responsibilities. Everything that I've always wanted for myself, but now you want it for someone else even more. Yeah, it's special. The baby is doing great.' These comments encapsulate the profound impact that parenthood has had on him personally.
In December, Prescott and Ramos disclosed that they were expecting their second child during an interview with Cara O'Bleness from Moneyline. Ramos recounted the moment she learned of her pregnancy, which occurred shortly before the Cowboys' first home game of the 2024 season against the New Orleans Saints. She surprised Prescott with the news just before kickoff. The couple first gained public attention in September 2023, and Prescott later announced their engagement in October 2024 after a proposal on a golf course. He cleverly concealed the ring inside a fake golf ball, which nearly got hit by Ramos before the reveal. As Prescott balances the joys of being a new father, he is simultaneously preparing for the start of the 2025 NFL season, having participated in Organized Team Activities (OTAs) with the Cowboys after dealing with a hamstring injury that limited him to just eight games in 2024.
