Bill Belichick Transitions to UNC Football, Stepping Back from ManningCast'

Bill Belichick, the renowned head coach, will be shifting his focus to his new role at the University of North Carolina (UNC) football program, thus stepping away from his participation in Peyton and Eli Manning's 'ManningCast' during the 2025 NFL season. In a recent interview with 97.1 The Fan at the 2025 Memorial Tournament celebrity Pro-Am, Peyton Manning confirmed Belichick's decision, stating, 'Obviously, he seems busy right now coaching college football, so he won't be back this year.'
Belichick had been a consistent presence on the Manning brothers' alternate broadcast for ESPN's Monday Night Football, providing insights during the period following his tenure with the New England Patriots and leading into his inaugural season with UNC. Manning remarked on the challenges of replacing Belichick, saying, 'He'll be hard to replace. I thought his insight was great.' This transition comes as the Mannings aim to continue engaging their audience with a diverse lineup of guests, including coaches, players, and entertainers who share a passion for football.
Since its inception in 2021, the Manning brothers have provided a unique perspective on NFL games through 'ManningCast.' As they prepare for the opening Monday night game of the 2025 season, featuring the Minnesota Vikings visiting the Chicago Bears on September 8, the spotlight will also be on Belichick as he coaches his first game for UNC against TCU the week prior.
