MLB Division Series Schedule Announced: Key Matchups and Broadcast Details

Exciting Postseason Action Awaits
The Major League Baseball (MLB) has officially announced the schedule for the first two games of both the American League (AL) and National League (NL) Division Series. This round of the postseason is set to kick off with an exhilarating four-game slate on Saturday, followed by two AL matchups on Sunday.
Game Schedule and Start Times
The start times for Saturday's games hinge on whether the Boston Red Sox or New York Yankees successfully advance from the wild-card round. Should the Red Sox emerge victorious, both AL games will be held consecutively on Saturday at 1:08 p.m. ET and 4:08 p.m. ET. Conversely, if the Yankees progress, Saturday's schedule will alternate between NL and AL games. Regardless of which team advances, there will definitely be an AL game airing on Fox at 4:08 p.m. ET.
On Sunday, fans can look forward to the winner of the Red Sox-Yankees matchup facing off against the Toronto Blue Jays at 4:08 p.m. ET, followed by the winner of the Tigers-Guardians clash taking on the Seattle Mariners at 8:03 p.m. ET. While the exact times for Monday's games are still under wraps, it’s confirmed that the two National League series will take place that day, with Sunday designated as an off day for the NL teams.
Broadcast Information and Division Series Preview
For the upcoming games, AL matchups will be aired on either Fox or FS1, with NL games offered on TBS, truTV, and HBO Max. Looking ahead to the division series, the Toronto Blue Jays, Seattle Mariners, Milwaukee Brewers, and Philadelphia Phillies have all secured first-round byes and will host the first two games of their respective series.
As the postseason excitement builds, all four division series matchups could be finalized by the time the dust settles on Wednesday. Currently, the Tigers, Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, and Los Angeles Dodgers have each claimed victory in Game 1 of their wild-card series on Tuesday. If those teams can replicate their success today, they'll secure a spot in the next round of the playoffs. Should any series require a Game 3, those decisive games will take place on Thursday.
