The Clippers are scheduled to face the Denver Nuggets on the road at 9 p.m. ET on Wednesday. In light of the wildfires affecting the area, the NHL also announced the postponement of Wednesday night's game between the Los Angeles Kings and the Calgary Flames, emphasizing the need for safety during this challenging time for the community.
Additionally, the NFL is closely monitoring the situation in Los Angeles. In a statement released on Wednesday, the league indicated that they will remain in contact with both clubs and the NFL Player Association ahead of the upcoming playoff game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Los Angeles Rams. Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick expressed his concerns for the community, stating that several of his family members had to evacuate as well.
