Giannis Antetokounmpo Responds to Criticism Over Passing Skills

Giannis Stands Firm Against Criticism
Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has made it clear that he remains unfazed by recent comments made by Houston Rockets player Alperen Şengün regarding his passing abilities. Şengün labeled Antetokounmpo as "not a great passer," sparking a strong reaction from the two-time MVP.
In response to the critique, Antetokounmpo encouraged Şengün to review the highlights of his game. "I'm a guy that don't like to talk a lot," expressed Antetokounmpo. "I let my game talk. I'm going into my 13th season in the NBA, I've won everything. Everything. And (EuroBasket) was the thing I hadn't won, and I won. It doesn't really matter because, at the end of the day, you won't remember what they say, you will remember how I respond."
The NBA star, who has built an incredible reputation throughout his career, highlighted that he prefers to respond to criticism through his performances rather than engaging in verbal disputes. He added, "You can go and check my YouTube. Go see my clips on YouTube and then come back and ask if I'm a good passer or not."
While passing may not be his most celebrated skill, Antetokounmpo's stats speak for themselves. Averaging 5.0 assists per game over his career and exceeding six assists per game in the past two seasons, he has proven to be a capable facilitator on the court. Moreover, he holds the record as the Bucks' all-time leader in assists, adding weight to his argument against such criticism.
