Dak Prescott Progresses in Recovery from Hamstring Injury

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is making significant progress in his rehabilitation following a hamstring injury that prematurely concluded his 2024 season. Although he has not yet received clearance for contact, Prescott expressed optimism about his recovery, stating, "Pretty much can do it all. Feel good," as reported by Moneyline.
Prescott noted that the early end to his season in November has afforded him ample time to work on his rehabilitation. He shared, "My offseason started way earlier so that's really essentially why I'm ahead," crediting his progress to collaborative efforts with the Cowboys' director of rehabilitation Britt Brown, the team's training staff, and his personal trainer, Luke Wilson.
The injury, which occurred during a Week 9 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, resulted in a partial avulsion of Prescott's hamstring tendon and ultimately required season-ending surgery. Despite finishing the season with 1,978 passing yards, 11 touchdowns, and eight interceptions across eight games, Prescott's performance fell short of expectations, especially in light of the substantial four-year, $240 million contract he signed the previous offseason. With his rehabilitation on track, Prescott is poised to lead the Cowboys in a bid for resurgence following their disappointing 7-12 finish in 2024.
