Texas Rangers Announce Special Edition Jujutsu Kaisen Jerseys for Theme Night

The Texas Rangers have made an exciting announcement for fans of anime, as they revealed their special-edition jerseys for Jujutsu Kaisen Night, which will take place on July 1 against the Baltimore Orioles. This event has garnered considerable interest, with tickets having already sold out.
Fans who secured their tickets will receive the co-branded jersey upon their arrival at Globe Life Field. In addition to Jujutsu Kaisen Night, the Rangers have an extensive lineup of Theme Nights scheduled for the remainder of the season, including AEW Wrestling Night, Hello Kitty Night, Barbie Night, Superman Day, and more.
This collaboration is not the first of its kind for Major League Baseball, as the league recently announced an official partnership with the popular anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, alongside Ufotable, the studio responsible for a short video featuring notable players such as Los Angeles Dodgers slugger Shohei Ohtani and Chicago Cubs pitcher Shota Imanaga. Furthermore, MLB has partnered with director Hiroshi Shimizu for a project titled Heroes of the Game, which promises an anime journey featuring stars like Shohei Ohtani, Paul Skenes, Aaron Judge, and Juan Soto. As for the Rangers, they currently sit third in the American League West with a 27-30 record, having lost eight of their last ten games, including a recent 2-0 shutout to the Toronto Blue Jays. The team aims to regroup as they prepare to host the St. Louis Cardinals, who have a current record of 32-34, for the opener of a three-game series on Friday.
