Noting the current state of the offense, Ward stated, 'I just think we're very mid right now.' Taking personal responsibility, he emphasized, 'At the end of the day, it all starts with me.'

The early days of Ward's NFL career have presented challenges, as highlighted by observations from local media. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft is keenly aware that improvement will come with increased collaboration with teammates and coaches. 'I have to get on the same page with my receivers, watch more film, and be more accurate with the football,' he remarked.

Acknowledging his current progression, Ward admitted to reporters, 'It might not be where I wanted to be, but I'm throwing to 15, 16 different people every day.' Despite encountering difficulties, including tipped passes and miscommunications with receivers, Ward is dedicating extra time after practice to refine his skills.
