Stephen Curry’s Offseason Gains: A Look at His Fitness Journey

Stephen Curry Shows off Impressive Physique This Offseason
Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has been putting in the work this offseason, showcasing his dedication to fitness. Recently, he shared photos from a charity event in Baltimore that caught the attention of NBA fans, who were impressed by the visible muscle definition in the 11-time All-Star's forearms.
From Slender Rookie to Muscular Veteran
Throughout his career, Curry has transformed his physique from a slender rookie to a more muscular player capable of handling the physical demands of the NBA. This evolution began back in 2011 when he started training with Brandon Payne at a facility in Fort Mill, South Carolina. Under Payne's guidance, Curry developed the strength needed to become a two-time MVP and the league's most lethal shooter.
Despite the physical grind, Curry’s passion for self-improvement remains apparent. As Payne mentioned in a 2022 interview, it's not the grind itself that drives Curry but rather his desire to get better. This mindset has allowed him to maintain impressive stats even in his 16th season, averaging 24.5 points and six assists.
Chasing Another Championship
At 37 years old, Curry continues to prove that he may not be at his peak, but he still performs at a level that encourages the Warriors to believe in their pursuit of another NBA title. As fans eagerly anticipate the upcoming season, Curry's offseason commitment to fitness sets a promising tone for the Warriors' championship aspirations.
