Rockets rookie Bruce Thornton showcased his talents, scoring 18 points on an efficient 5-of-9 shooting and hitting three shots from beyond the arc. In addition to his scoring, Thornton also contributed four assists, two rebounds, and two steals, solidifying his place as a player to watch. Despite the loss, Labaron Philon Jr., the 76ers' No. 22 overall pick, shone brightly, recording 17 points and four assists while shooting 7-of-11 from the field.
Nets Dominate Kings in High-Scoring Affair
The Brooklyn Nets demonstrated their offensive strength in a commanding 115-83 victory over the Sacramento Kings. All five Nets starters made significant contributions, with Egor Dëmin leading the charge with 22 points and an impressive eight assists without a single turnover.
Mikel Brown Jr. added to the offensive onslaught with 16 points and five assists, while Darius Acuff Jr. put forth a valiant effort for the Kings, scoring a game-high 26 points. With this win, the Nets improved their Summer League record to 2-1 as the Kings fell to 1-2.

In the final game of the day, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 99-85, continuing their perfect record of 3-0. Cameron Carr led the charge for the Lakers, scoring 23 points while contributing two assists and a block.
Keaton Wagler, the Clippers’ No. 5 overall pick, had a challenging night but still managed to score 16 points and nab six rebounds. Despite the loss, Wagler's potential remains evident as the Clippers dropped to 1-2.
