Nike Unveils Revolutionary Therma-FIT Air Milano Jacket for Team USA Athletes at 2026 Olympics

Nike Revolutionizes Athlete Gear with Therma-FIT Air Milano Jacket
Nike has unveiled an innovative approach to keeping Team USA athletes warm during the upcoming 2026 Milano Cortina Olympics. The new Therma-FIT Air Milano Jacket has been touted as Nike's "most technically engineered garment of its kind." This cutting-edge jacket offers a unique inflatable feature, designed to adapt to the athletes' varying needs for warmth.
According to Complex News and HYPEBEAST, Nike debuted this impressive line last Thursday, showcasing its dual-layer design that borrows technology from the brand's well-known Air sneakers. Athletes can easily inflate or deflate the jacket, allowing them to transition from the comfort of a hoodie to the insulation of a mid-weight puffer with just the flick of a valve.
The jacket features a small pump that attaches conveniently to the front left side, enabling wearers to customize their warmth on demand. This reimagining of athletic wear builds upon Nike's earlier work with inflatable jackets, starting with the release of the ACG Gore-Tex Airvantage Exotherm Jacket in 2008, as well as the Adapt Sense Air Jacket under the ISPA line in spring 2025.
Adorned with the Nike ACG logo and the United States Olympic Team emblem, the Therma-FIT Air Milano Jacket proudly displays "USA" vertically down its back, embodying both style and functionality. As the countdown to the Winter Olympics continues, this innovative gear could play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance of the athletes as they gear up for the games.
The 2026 Winter Olympics are set to kick off with their Opening Ceremony on February 6, 2026, at AC Milan's historic venue, Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
