NFL 2025 Draft Class Predicts Initial Madden NFL 26 Ratings

Members of the NFL's 2025 draft class shared a variety of perspectives regarding their anticipated initial ratings in Madden NFL 26. Las Vegas Raiders running back Ashton Jeanty expressed an expectation of an overall rating around 80. In contrast, Los Angeles Chargers running back Omarion Hampton set his estimate significantly higher, at 87 overall, a sentiment echoed by New York Giants players Abdul Carter and Jaxson Dart.
Moreover, Baltimore Ravens edge-rusher Mike Green aimed even higher, forecasting his rating within the 90s. For context, it is noteworthy that no rookie in Madden NFL 25 registered a rating of 80 or above upon the game's release. The top performers during that period were Chargers offensive tackle Joe Alt and Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., both rated at 79 overall, with five additional players sharing a rating of 78.
This week, EA Sports is gradually unveiling player ratings to build anticipation ahead of the Madden NFL 26 release, showcasing the top rookies on Tuesday, with a comprehensive reveal set for Friday. Jeanty and Carter are expected to rank among the elite of this newly drafted class. Carter was featured second only to Jacksonville Jaguars two-way star Travis Hunter on Bleacher Report's final big board, while Jeanty secured the sixth position. The wait for their official Madden ratings will soon conclude.
