According to Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News, the NBA has informed the San Antonio Spurs that they will face the Lakers at Crypto.com Arena on Monday evening. In a similar report, ESPN's Ramona Shelburne noted that the Clippers have received confirmation that their game against the Miami Heat, scheduled for Monday night at the Intuit Dome, will go ahead as planned.

The NBA previously postponed two matchups on Saturday, which included the Lakers set to host the Spurs and the Clippers scheduled to play against the Charlotte Hornets. Both games are slated for rescheduling on future dates. Additionally, the Lakers had their game against the Hornets that was scheduled for Thursday postponed, with a new date still to be determined.

In light of the devastation caused by the wildfires, the NBA has pledged $1 million for immediate relief efforts, which will benefit the American Red Cross, World Central Kitchen, and other organizations. The recent Palisades Fire has affected more than 5,600 structures across 24,000 acres, marking it as the most destructive fire in the city's history. Tragically, the fires have resulted in at least 16 fatalities, and nearly 105,000 individuals remain under mandatory evacuation orders. Lakers' first-year head coach JJ Redick, who recently shared that he and his family lost their home in the Palisades Fire, highlights the personal impact of this disaster. Likewise, Spurs veteran point guard Chris Paul, a longtime Los Angeles resident and former Clippers player, expressed concern after his family's evacuation from their home.
