Ken Rosenthal Apologizes After Accidental Collision with Brewers Photographer

Unexpected Incident During Post-Game Interview
In an unusual twist during a recent post-game interview, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic and Fox Sports accidentally knocked down Milwaukee Brewers team photographer Scott Paulus. The incident occurred as Rosenthal tried to evade a Gatorade bath, leading to a moment that quickly went viral.
Following the viral moment, Rosenthal spoke about the incident on his show Foul Territory on Monday. He expressed surprise at his own reaction in the video, saying, "I must admit though, when I looked at the video, when I saw this, I was surprised at how upset I appeared. I was more confused than anything. Now I had to continue the interview. We were live, folks, on national television—couldn't stop."
Rosenthal described feeling terrible about the collision and confirmed that he reached out to Paulus afterward, stating, "I felt awful about what happened. And afterwards I went to Scott, who I've worked with in pits before over the years, and I apologized. I apologized profusely." The incident seems to have been a moment of chaos rather than intentional hostility.
Looking ahead, Rosenthal mentioned that he will be covering the American League playoffs, which means it may be a while before he returns to Milwaukee.
