Jordan Love Calls Out Packers Offense After Tough Loss to Eagles

Packers Struggle to Find Offensive Rhythm
After the Green Bay Packers fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 10-7 on Monday night, quarterback Jordan Love expressed his frustration with the team's offensive struggles. In a game marked by missed opportunities and turnovers, the Packers managed to score just 7 points, bringing their total to only 20 points across their last two games.
Speaking with reporters, Love acknowledged the defense's efforts, stating, "I know as a defense, they definitely have every reason to look at us and say, 'What are you guys doing? You guys need to figure it out and help us out and put up some more points,' because they're doing a great job. It's frustrating, but we'll stay together. We'll keep the energy high and find ways to get better and be better as an offense."
Offensive Inconsistencies Plague the Packers
The Monday Night Football matchup showcased two competitive teams; however, neither side played to its full potential. The matchup was marred by a combined 555 yards, 11 penalties, and three turnovers. The game was clinched by the Eagles when Packers kicker Brandon McManus missed a potentially game-tying 64-yard field goal attempt as time expired.
The Packers find themselves at a crossroads this season, struggling at 5-3-1 and fighting to maintain a spot in the NFC wild card race. Their previous three non-wins include a loss to the Cleveland Browns, a tie with the Dallas Cowboys, and another loss to the Carolina Panthers - a trio of teams that currently hold a combined record of 10-17-1.
During their losses, the Packers offense has averaged just 10 points and 286.7 yards per game, contrasting sharply with a defense that has conceded only 39 points in those outings. This season, Green Bay’s defense ranks fifth in yards allowed per game and seventh in points allowed over the course of the season, having only allowed more than 20 points to three opponents.
Though Love is experiencing his best year since taking over as the starter, his performance remains inconsistently high and low. Against the Eagles, he completed 20 of 36 passes for 176 yards without a touchdown or interception, marking his fourth game this season under 200 passing yards and his second consecutive game without a touchdown.
The Packers hope to regroup as they remain tied with the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions for the critical NFC North playoff positioning. With three division games remaining, including a Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Lions in Detroit, there remains a chance to turn the season around.
