Cam Ward Reflects on Offensive Challenges as Titans Prepare for Season

Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward provided a candid assessment of the team's offensive performance as training camp progresses. During a recent media session, Ward acknowledged the current state of the offense, stating, 'I just think we're very mid right now. At the end of the day, it all starts with me.'
Ward's honest evaluation comes amid a challenging period for him and the Titans' offense. As the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, he recognizes the hurdles that come with his rookie season. Emphasizing the importance of teamwork and preparation, Ward noted, 'I have to get on the same page with my receivers, watch more film, and be more accurate with the football.'
Despite the early struggles, Ward remains committed to his development. He reported engaging in extra work after practices, focusing on building chemistry with his wide receivers, including Tyler Lockett, Xavier Restrepo, and Bryce Oliver. While the improvements are gradual, Ward's determination indicates a readiness to face the challenges of the upcoming season, especially as the Titans gear up for their Week 1 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
