Caleb Williams Misses Out on Pro Bowl Selection as Bears Leave Fans Disappointed

Caleb Williams Left Off Pro Bowl Roster Despite Fan Support
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams will not be making his Pro Bowl debut this February, as he was left off the final roster for the 2026 Pro Bowl despite finishing third in the fan voting among quarterbacks. Instead, the NFC will be represented by Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams, Dak Prescott from the Dallas Cowboys, and Sam Darnold of the Seattle Seahawks.
Davante Adams and Other Notable Snubs
In a surprising twist, Davante Adams, wide receiver for the Rams, also failed to make the cut after not ranking in the top ten fan votes, despite leading the NFL with 14 touchdown catches. He was edged out by his teammate Puka Nacua, along with George Pickens of the Cowboys, Jaxon Smith-Njigba from the Seahawks, and Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions.
The Pro Bowl, featuring an NFC vs. AFC flag football game, is scheduled to take place during the lead-up to Super Bowl LX in San Francisco on February 3. It comes shortly after both the Bears and the Jaguars officially clinched playoff spots.
Bears Dominance Goes Unrecognized
Despite a strong showing in the fan votes, where the Bears topped ten position categories, only three players were selected to the event—Joe Thuney, Kevin Byard, and Drew Dalman. This has sparked conversations around the league, especially after Micah Parsons of the Green Bay Packers highlighted the snub of Bears cornerback Nahshon Wright.
Fans have also expressed their disappointment, feeling that both Williams and playoff-bound Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix deserved consideration over Prescott, given the Cowboys' elimination from postseason play. There are similar sentiments about Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who has led his team on a six-game winning streak yet was not included in the AFC roster.
Other Noteworthy Omissions
Aside from Williams and Adams, notable players left off the final roster include Jordan Davis, defensive tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles, and Kyle Pitts, tight end for the Atlanta Falcons.
As the Pro Bowl nears, anticipation builds around who will finally step up to represent the respective franchises in this showcase of top talent.
