Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen to Sport Visor After Nose Injury Ahead of Dolphins Clash

Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen Faces Injury but Prepares for Upcoming Game
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is set to don a clear visor for the team's upcoming matchup against the Miami Dolphins after sustaining a bruised nose during Sunday’s victory over the New York Jets. Despite the injury, Allen remains in good spirits, humorously referring to himself as the "third Bosa brother" in light of his recent encounter on the field.
Allen sustained the injury as he attempted to scramble on a second-and-seven play in the first quarter. In the midst of being tackled, a hand caught him on the nose, resulting in a bloody scene that temporarily sidelined the reigning MVP. He was replaced by Mitch Trubisky but returned just two plays later, leading the Bills to a decisive 30-10 win, bringing their record to 2-0 for the season.
Reflecting on the incident, Allen noted, "I pulled it when I probably should have handed it off. I tried to throw it, and I saw him push, decided to tuck it. I don't know what hit me; it was a knee, it was a hand, it was somebody, helmet. It just kind of came down right on the bridge of my nose and just started leaking."
This won’t be Allen's first experience with a visor, as he wore one during his college days at Wyoming and has utilized a visor in practice sessions over the years, as reported by Dom Tibbetts of WKBW in Buffalo.
Looking ahead, the Bills will aim to continue their winning streak as they take on the struggling Dolphins in an AFC East showdown this Thursday.
