Baltimore Ravens Secure AFC North Title with Victory Over Cleveland Browns
For the second consecutive season, the Baltimore Ravens have claimed the AFC North title. The Ravens achieved this milestone with a decisive 35-10 victory against the Cleveland Browns, ensuring that they will host at least one playoff game in the upcoming postseason.
Baltimore's defense established a dominant presence early in the game, highlighted by cornerback Nate Wiggins' pick-six in the first quarter. This early momentum allowed the Ravens to build an 11-point lead by halftime, which they maintained for the remainder of the contest. Lamar Jackson capped off an impressive regular season performance, completing 16 of 32 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns while also contributing 63 rushing yards on nine attempts without committing a turnover. The standout quarterback has now recorded multiple touchdowns in six consecutive games and made history as the first player in NFL history to surpass 4,000 passing yards and 800 rushing yards in a single season.
In addition to Jackson's remarkable performance, running back Derrick Henry showcased his skills by rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries. The Ravens' defense effectively contained Cleveland's quarterbacks, Bailey Zappe and Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who combined for 174 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. The Ravens finished the regular season with a record of 12-5, marking their fourth division title since Jackson's rookie season in 2018.
