Aaron Rodgers Addresses Criticism Ahead of 21st NFL Season

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has responded to the doubts surrounding his abilities as he prepares for his 21st NFL season. In an appearance on Wednesday's edition of the Pat McAfee Show, which was broadcast live from Steelers training camp in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Rodgers addressed critical comments regarding his performance.
During the discussion, McAfee referenced Rodgers' first training camp pass, which was intercepted by linebacker Patrick Queen, and noted the commentary suggesting that Rodgers has lost his edge. When asked how he feels about the perception that he has 'lost it,' Rodgers conveyed a sense of indifference to the criticism, indicating that he remains focused on his game and the upcoming season.
After spending 18 seasons with the Green Bay Packers and two seasons with the New York Jets, Rodgers is looking forward to a fresh start in Pittsburgh. Despite facing challenges in the previous season, where he completed 63.0 percent of his passes for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions, and ranking 20th in quarterback rating among 36 qualifiers, he is optimistic about new opportunities. This season, he will be supported by key players including new WR1 D.K. Metcalf and Pro Bowl tight end Jonnu Smith, creating a strong offensive lineup. Rodgers may have limited playing time in the preseason, but fans are eager to see him in action when the Steelers open the regular season on September 7 against the Jets.
